Canaima & Angel Fall: Comfortable Lodge and flight over the Angel Falls
In the comfortable Canaima tour we stay at Tapuy lodge which is located right in front of the Canaima lagoon. On this tour we visit different waterfalls such as Salto Hacha, Salto Golondrina and Salto Sapo as well as a flight over the Auyan Tepui and the Angel Falls.
1 day: Flight to Canaima
Early in the morning we flight with a Cessna from Ciudad Bolivar to Cainama airport for an hour. Bevor landing we can already enjoy the first view of the Tepuis, the Canaima lagoon and its waterfalls. First we check in at the lodge, then we take a refreshing bath at the Canaima lagoon. From the fine sand of the lagoon we have an impressive view of the waterfalls Salto Golondrina, Salto Hacha and Salto Ucaima.
After that we have lunch in the lodge. In the afternoon we ride across the Canaima lagoon with a long motorboat passing by the waterfalls Hacha Golondrina and Ucaima till we reach the Anatoly island. On the island we hike to waterfall Salto Sapo (40m high). If the water mass allows it we will try to walk behind the waterfall. A really highlight. At the end of the afternoon we go back to the lodge. We have dinner and stay there for the night.
2 day: Up to the highest Waterfall on Earth: Angel Falls
After breakfast we go to the airport and fly with a cessna over the Auyan Tepui till the Angel Fall, the highest waterfall on earth. We will fly several times in front of it, so everyone in the can have the best view possible for taking pictures of the waterfall and the Auyan Tepui.
Once we land, we will still have enough time to take a bath at the Canaima lagoon or just to relax on its fine sand. After that we flight back to Ciudad Bolivar. End of the tour
